Passionate Counselling Psychologist
I am a Counselling Psychologist, a former Teacher and a Director of SpectrumColourAssessment and Counselling. I hold my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Witwatersrand (WITS). I have been in private practice since 2007.
I am a goal orientated professional driven by integrity, empathy and upholds Batho Pele principles. I am also a motivator, a team leader, and team player who is passionate about enhancing individuals’ academic, professional, relational and personal areas of functioning through Counselling and Psychometric assessments.

Trauma Debriefing and Counselling
Growth comes from allowing healing to take place.
Traumatic events can cause a dysfunction in one's emotional, psychological, physical and physiological functioning. Left untreated this can lead to a disruption in professional and personal relationships, and most important a relationship with the self. Debriefing is a specific technique designed to assist others in dealing with the physical or psychological symptoms that are generally associated with trauma exposure. Debriefing allows those involved with the incident to process the event and reflect on its impact.
